I disagree...for now..we have used high mileage valvoline a lot but recently since tough times we have used a some car part store house brands because it's cheap...we still burn about half a quart a month..no change.

Today we just bought autozone oil change special Quaker state, stop oil filter and two dollars off air liter for 25 bucks

I've actually switched back to Mobil-1 for everything. All the cars are running it. I've been having a hard time finding platinum in stock.

I'm also switching the 2013 Transmission and Differential fluid to mobil-1. Hopefully the weather turns a little decent this weekend so I can get that done.
