I use Mobil 1 full synthetic. Filters it just depends on where I go but I try to get a decent one and not cheap out. I only change the oil about 2-3 times a year usually way before the mileage due.

I used mobile 1 full synthetic for a long time and was going to switch to royal purple but further reading changed my decision from royal purple to either Brad penn 10w40 full synthetic "green oil" or rotella t6 (it's full synthetic as well). I went with the rotella t6 and so far love it. Better oil pressure with it over mobile 1 etc. I still may try Brad penn though.

Filter is never anything but a acdelco pf52

I completely agree with the video. I wouldn't use a high mileage oil unless I was having problems. Otherwise, I think you are going to create problems by using a high mileage oil on an engine that isn't showing signs of needing it. As mentioned, if you swell seals that are still sealing pretty good, you are just asking for those seals to wear out even quicker, because now they are wearing while being swelled.

Thanks Moderator Michael for taking your time to watch the above `vid & posting your opinion...I agree completely & have known people that made this mistake & there's more oil on the pavement then in the engine 4>Sure!!!
