way to run brights & reg headlights same time?
Ive always wondered if there is and fairly easy way to run with the regular headlights and brights on at the same time?
I do it alot of the times just by pulling back on the bright **** but not letting it click which allows you to run both at same time and throws out ALOT of light. The huge downside to this is that you have to manually hold the bright **** the entire time.

I don't believe it's possible, but I might be mistaken. I've looked and can't find anything about it. Headlight are computer controled, and you would have to re-program the computer for that, IMO.
yes you can do this but i dont remeber where i found the artical on this. you can run a jumper wire from point a to point b and it bypasses the switch that turns off th elow beams with the high beams being turned on.
Also you can do it where you turn on the fog lights with the high beams and also on with key on.
Now that i know im going to keep the Monte for sure i will be looking to do this stuff and also to do the tail light conversions where you have the top and bottom lights on at the same time and flash at the same time like the 06 i think it was.
might chek in to a impalla fourm i think it might be where i found it. I will start digging ar oudn on the hard drive in my external i saved this stuff most of the time as a hot to artical etc...

i dont know how it would affect the computer, but i know on my chevy pickups i used a 12v relay, tapped into the power going to the high beam as a signal wire, and had the relay powered straight from the battery, and ofcourse the power out of the relay to your low beams

85 goes to ground
86 goes to positive batt
30 is the tap off of your hi beam positive
87 would be the positive to the low beam
i know this works on OLDER vehicles, i have no idea how a computer controlled setup would act

On my '93 & '94 cars I ran a jumper wire out to the fog lights. Then tapped into the fuse box for power. They come on with the key day or night and stay on with the high beams.
Then I found out all I needed to do was run a jumper from point A to point B on the dash switch for the fog lights and I could use the stock dash swtich to power them whenever I wanted. DUH!!
