ok i was just wondering could you install a SS/pace spoiler on a 00-05 monte LS?

 

I am also interested in installing a SS/pace spoiler on my 03 with the surfboard spoiler.

 

Mine is an LS with a Nascar style spoiler.

"Yes" to both questions.

You may have to drill two extra holes as some have mentioned they did in the trunk lid.

But check ebay. You can find the race inspired spoilers on there for $75 & up.

 

also serch here and you can find one that is the stand up style but will bolt directly in to the surf borad holes. and still looks nice to

 

I have a pace spoiler for sale in the classifieds section....id cut a good deal

 

i can't see why GM did the surfboard spoiler, everyone wants the pace car one

 

maybe to give the buyer one more reason to look at the ss?

 

I actually dont mind the surf bord , Btu would ahve preferd to have the pace car version. I didnt even have a choice on mine when i got it.

Btu the pace car version was actually on the special edition PACE CAR, and other "race inspierd versions" Not the avrage SS Model.

Not to say that it is just a avrage car al the time some of us have cars that are better then a stock pace car in some way i think at least.
But im partial to mine LOL
