I had a bolt on a hub assembly begin to round on a Grand Prix. Got lucky with a slightly smaller socket and hammered that sucker on there. It held and did the job. Once the bolt was out, replaced it with a nice new one.
Win some and loose some. What would be handy to know is if the shop had a special trick or did they drill it and tap it.....

well the good news is the shop got all the rear bolts out. They said they had to take the torch to them for a while. I was able to scre a pair of new bolts from autozone for the damaged bolt. GM wanted $30 for 1 pair of rear caliper bolts. Autozone charged $8. Screw you GM.
