57 days after being "totaled", I had it in a local car show. Received two votes for best in class (late model V8). You may notice that the lower black piece of the air dam is no longer textured. Both it and the piece on the rear that wraps around the exhaust have been smoothed and painted gloss black to match the stripes... This is a big week for Monte as he is getting 4" exhaust tips Tuesday and full paint correction/ceramic coating Thursday! Oh, and I finally put on the correct mirrors for that car. It came with heated mirrors and I had regular mirrors on it. Changed them right before this show. Not bad for a "totaled" car..................

 

Glad you are still enjoying your Monte. Totaled can be such a silly term sometimes. When you shared the incident that totaled your Monte, it was purely a matter of car value to cost of repair, damage was not too bad. Glad it's saved and still on the road.

My 04 Grand Am was totaled years before I bought it (it was 2 years old when it was totaled). And I have seen where it's repairs were, I still don't understand why it was ever totaled, but it's an awesome little car too!
