since everyone is talking about gas mileage, I've actually decided these next few tanks I'm going to try and see what the max mpg I can get. I've already been testing at what points the tranny locks the TC and the rpms drop down really low. I'm hoping I can get maybe 27-28 in the city loop that I usually drive. especially with gas prices getting close to $3.00 again, every extra mile helps. I'll keep everyone posted on what mileage I get

yea, hard to beat a bike, i've got a bit over $2k into mine, gets 40mpg beating on it, and it takes a ferrari enzo to even edge out the rated 1/4mi times.

yah bought if i bought a motor cycle it wouldn't be good on gas..lol...it would have to be a harley for me...no japonese bikes

Cain, I guess what I meant is the engine effectively turns one cam into two with the VVT. Now are you sure it just changes timing? I thought they ground two different ways, and when VVT activated, the second grinding was active, and when not on the VVT, the regular grind was active. I mean really just advancing the timing wouldn't take all the funky top=end mods that were displayed in PopSci.... Dang i wish I still had that issue.
