Hey I just thought I would ask everyone what gas mileage they get. Since gas prices these days are so high, I'm always watching what I get and I'm sure others on this site are too. Just say what engine your have and what mileage you get using what octane of fuel. Also has anyone seen benefits in mileage from exhaust and intake upgrades?

Me: 3.4L, 25mpg on 87

 

well lets see here. the other day i filled up with 93 octane
accourding to the dic unit i was getting 22 mpg
i put in the take 55 litters on average and see about 234 miles out of a tank.
if i push real hard on the E i will see 240 miles out of a tank. this is mostly intown stop and go.

so hopefully that is pretty acerate on the DIC unit as i have no clue how to do it the other way

Also i add a octane booster so i use 93 octane then add the booster of 104+

I can get 21mpg highway with the 350 in my 85. Mixed average is 16/17mpg.

Also finally got the dealer to agree to fix my dash they screwed all up. and now yet another new ing. switch for it.

Go figure they hopefully will get sick of screwing it up for me.
oh and i get a new center councail on the top part due to the wear on it. So they should flip out over that one it has lights in it also.
I asked them just to pint it while they had the dash but he refused to do it said he would order a new one.

Makes me wonder if i can get the old one from him LOL

I've just been using Seafoam once a month or so. Before this 10% Ethanol crap I was averaging 24.5 MPG's. Funny thing though, it gets 1-2MPG less when my wife drives it.. I don't think it likes her much...
