2000 Monte SS recently developed problems with turn signal intermittant malfunction. Dealership couldn't find a problem...it worked for them...go figure...wasn't more than five minutes on the way home and signal quit for me while changing lanes. No rhyme reason or warning. Anyone experience this? Got a fix?

 

maybe try replacing the fuse? i'd go back to the GM dealer and tell them it's an intermittent problem. see if they'll pony up the dough for a fuse.

 

Most likely its a flasher issue

 

I have the exact same problem with my 2000 and it could work for a month or two and then twice in one week it would malfunction. Anyways, my fix for this would be (temporary fix) to hit the 4 way flashers for a second and then the signal lights would work again. Right nowmy problemhasn't happened for about a month.

 

replace the flasher unit, you will be fine after that

 

Where online can I find the Hazard/flasher switch for my 02 monte ss? I am having the same problem and from what Ive learned the flasher and hazard switch are built into one. I am trying to find someone that has a decent price that I can order from.
