So is there a way to install the sealed beam lights on the LS euro?

no. the only way to do that would be to take the entire header panel(nose of the car) off the car, and replace it with a standard monte carlo nose. which i assure you will be more than just buying the inclosure. youre just going to have to go comb junkyards for a better price if you can find one with the car, or comb the internet for one. just explain to your gramp that the car is 25 years old, an oddball, and this isnt the 80s anymore where pick your own part junkyards are ripe with treasures. a few years back i paid 100 bucks for a pair of cracked turn signals for my 80 to convert it to a 78 nose. oddball year stuff is pricey. i think the euro nose was a 87-88 only. so not a billion of them made to part out.

Thanks, this is great information. I think I read somewhere that there were only around 39,000 of these cars made. I'm not sure if it meant just the LS or the LS euro.

So basically, the headlights from an '88 LS euro will work on the '87 LS euro, correct? Would any other headlights from any other car work?

Thanks again.

i would think that the 39000 would be the ls euro number for the two years. theyre kind of rare. i know alot of ls cars came with bucket seats, floor shifters, and center consoles all of which are coveted by 78-88 g body owners everywhere. hell alot of the ss cars didnt come with that stuff. i dont know about the interchange between the olds, and the monte(the olds cutlass being the only other gbody euro nose i know of). the 88 euro headlight housing will fit. idk if the euro nose was run any other years than 87 & 88. i thought that i had seen earlier year canadian models with that nose, but this couldve been an owner done swap. good luck finding the housing. you could also put a search in on one of those junkyard search sites. it sends an email to like a 100 junkyards. thats how i found the fender for my 80 in south dakota.
