3.5 Monte Carlo LS is not a muscle car neither is a FWD V-8 car. RWD is a mucsle car with aV-8.

Well, I've owned lots and lotsof cars since 1968, my friend - FWD, RWD and AWD. I can tell you that my Monte is faster than was my $41,000 1997 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC (RWD), my slightly-modified 02 Mustang GT (RWD), and even my 1967 Chevelle SS396/325 (RWD). I'm not a performance purist by any means, but about the only difference I can seewith aFWD muscle car is thatyou don't have to look in the rearview mirrors to see the smoke. Additionally, I assume FWD is going to be much better in the snow, but this remains to be seen.

Top-speed is top-speed, and 0-60 is 0-60 - regardless of which wheels are doing the driving. If I'm wrong about this,Iassume that youwill set me straight.

Although Ihave never driven one, I will agree with you that 3.5Monte Carlo probably does not qualify as a "muscle car".

I wouldn't lay any money on this but I've seen/heard/read a RWD car will travel 0-60 faster then a FWD car will.

This information does not include the all wheel drive coupe Chip Foose made.
