So I found this "chip" on ebay claims to be able to do some outstanding things but it sounds and looks a bit unorthodox. Does anyone know if this is a hoax or what exactly it does if anything? It just all sounds to good to be true, sorry if I put this in the wrong section I didnt know where I should have.

Sorry, but that can't be true even if it cost 500 dollars. To get that sort of gain i don't even know how much you have to do to your car.

But, I really don't know much about chips and what not so it could be that it gives you some power or better mileage. Stick around to see what the other members have to say.

Dont waste your money. If you are looking to chip your monte look into a reprogrammed PCM or a tuner. They are obviously going to cost more money but they actually work.

 

Does it cure your aids, dump the litter box, and make the south look intelligent too?? JKJK (im from ne so i have no room to talk XD)

 

lol thats what I thought to but the way I look at it im young and theres still a lot I dont know about maybe theres some crazy new thing I dont know about but I definitely assumed it was BS. Ive seen a lot of reprogrammed PCM's but they ask all kinds of questions I dont really understand to be honest lol. I dont plan to do any hard modifications performance wise for awhile just little things guess I need to start searching the site for discussions on the reprogrammed PCM's lol, I love this site has everything I need

 

if ur not gonna buy a programmer and do it all yourself make that ur last mod...it can b tuned to work with all of your mods so reprogramming and then changing your set up is wasting our money

 

Yea your better off waiting till last to reprogram. All it does is change some of the limiters and such, and mabye adds a little fuel. The programmer you looked at, all it will do is restrict fuel flow, so in turn you loose hp to gain mabye 1-2 more mpg.
