Default Stroker Kit Help finding One

I found a stroker kit a while back that converted our 3.8L to a 4.2L and now I can't seem to locate the website. If you have any info on this subject feel free to post it. Does anyone know anyone who has done this?

I know of that one but that just increases its engine capacity to a 4.05L, I'm looking for the 4.2L conversion

Yeah I'd be interested in this too but has anyone already done this? If so what kind of gains? Loss of MPG?

Thanks!!

I haven't heard of the 4.2 kit yet, but the 4.05 kit is already overdone in my opinion. It's a reworked GM crank and cracks around 375 WHP which really isn't much for the cost of the mod if you have a supercharger or turbo. It is really designed for NA vehicles.

Acutally I did a quick search out there for one again and you probably saw the 3.8 to 4.2 stroker for the Ford motor. It's all over the Mustang boards for the Mustangs that came with the V6.

Do a google search for: 4.2 stroker kit and you will find tons of Ford info, but not for GM.

Scratch that last statement. I found an obscure Firebird and that guy is looking at a 4.2 stroker kit. This might have been what you were looking at. It is made for the Ecotech engine in Australia and I seriously don't beleive it will work with our 3800's since they don't even look like the same engine, but it's worth a look if you want to contact them and see if the block and heads are the same to support it.

Here is the link for the guys Firebird for additional research

No it's not a reworked crankshaft, its a brand new crank design for its purpose. I've have been to the website in the past and can't seem to find it anymore. ??? I will continue to look and will let you guys know if I find anything.

The one from ZZPerformance (the popular one) is a reworked and it states it on their website.

"What am I actually buying here?
The basis for our kit is a reworked stock GM 3800 crank."

Well the site that I found a while back, the one I'm trying to find again, actually compares their crankshaft to the one found at zzp. I wish I would have saved that website to my favorites, I'm still looking though and would appreciate all the help I can get.
