I recently rebuilt the motor in my 87 ss and spent a week driving easy to break her in I had like 50miles on her more then I needed to to be able to get on her hard like i was eager to do since i put the motor back in. I live out in the sticks of my town and I took her out to my buddies house. As I was leaving and getting ready to turn on a 3 mile long straight road leading to my house a old head in a 2000 ss blew by and locked up his breaks when i pulled out. so i pulled up next to him and we started talkin. I never ran mine at the track since ive owned her and he was saying he runs. 13.1-13.3's. His words where (not to be cocky but that thing couldnt touch this car on its best day and his cars worst day) So I pushed my line lock heated the (cheater slicks) up a little and rolled forward a bit and set her on the converter he punched it and next thing i new my speedo was burried and i was about 4-5 car lengths ahead of him in the matter of seconds. Now we are supposed to go to the local trackfriday and see what my car runs in the 1/4.

Very nice, yeah let us know the 1/4 time. 13.1-13.3 is probably close my buddies stock 01 Z28, M6, ran it in 13.4. Nice kills though, glad you kicked his ***, people that talk **** and get put in there place, nothing better than that.

 

yeap normally I dont street race but when he started talkin **** I couldn't pass up putting him in his place. My buddy has the same set up as me in his 85 and he is running 12.3's but I have better heads and intake on mine then he does so im hoping to be 12 flat plus his reaction time sucks lol
