MOST EXPENSIVE SEA FOAM EVER! foamed the tank, oil and brake booster, bought a new fuel filter, went down the highway to get up to speed and get the sea foam in every nooks and cranny. Got pulled over goin 130, thank god he only wrote it down as 115. i should have gotten speeding, driving recklessly, and unintentional manslaughter (for goin 2x the limit) but when i explained ot the officer that i just installed a new down pipe, plugs, wires, coil pack, and sea foamed th engine and i needed to see if it could handle those speeds( I made sure to use big technical terms) he let me off wit a $200 speeding ticket instead of 900 in fines and 6 months in jail....

Wait? 130? What is your speed limiter?? Oh, you got the 3800. Us 3400's got a 104 speed limiter... well those of us who have a tuned PCM dont hehe.

But stealing your thread here for a sec, if you have a clogged or semi clogged fuel filter, could it affect performance to different degree at different times?? I mean, could it perform good one day then perform bad the next day??

Yeah, you sounded like a big @ss! A giant @ss, whats wrong with you? Geeze!!!!!!!
JK chill out, you didnt sound like an @ss at all, you were trying to help and it gave me a good idea too. Ive been having a problem for a while with different performace each day so im hoping a fuel fiter (which I never thought of DUH!) will fix it. thanks.
