Is there any thing simple I can do to my 3.4L to increase performance?

 

Possible K&N filter, I know you can remove U-bend, but there just isn't a lot you can do to them.

 

How do I remove U-Bend??

 

go to a local exhaust shop, they'll know what your talking about if they're good, if not its a little bend in the pipe before that cat that doesn't need to be there, they just need to put a straight piece in there and put a o2 sensor bong in there for the o2 and your done, really noticeible difference in mine

 

How much difference did you notice? I have an 00 with a 3.4L

 

i have a 2005 with the 3.8 supercharged, and it was a fairly big difference. definetely worth it, and get a highflow cat too when your doing it, just a universal 3" highflow cat is all you need for it, can buy them fairly cheap, proabaly like 40-50 bucks or so

 

Remove the TB screen? I took mine out and added a K&N filter...love the sound it makes and acceleration has improved. Removing the screen flows an extra 40 or so CFM into the throttle body.
