You can Google Chevy Vin numbers, and the Vin numbers are coded, it will show the codes, and will tell you if its an LS or SS, what it will not do is tell you, if its a Limited Edition , such as a Pace Car, or Dale E, Jeff Gordon, etc, To confirm that, You need contact Chevrolet customer service, number also available from Google search.

No definitely not true. Bench/column was standard
Buckets /console /floor shift were all options.
I've seen factory buckets/column shift before.
