Default Question about replacing seats in a Monte

Ok, I am looking for a Monte Carlo now, and I am very specific as to what I want. It must be a SS, and I want leather, a sunroof would be nice, but not needed. Anyways, I found some leather seats online that are out of a 2002. I was wondering if I buy the leather seats from a 2002 will they fit in other years of Monte Carlo's (2000-2005)? I want to make sure they will fit OK, i dont want to have to any problems replacing all the seats. If you know how, please post! Thanks!

there are enough cars out there for the options your looking for you should be abel to find one in the color, options, and even price range your looking at.

just my thouhgts on this. i would not buy the seats till i know i dont have them for my car.

I havent bought the seats yet, I am just curious. I have been looking for a Monte Carlo SS in my area for around $10K, and I have found and look at 5 so far, and all of them have either been sold on me the day after I looked at them, or they have been in accidents, and there were too many mechanical problems. I just would like to know because if I find one that is nice and cheap but it has cloth, I will then search EBAY for leather seats. Thanks for the info everyone.

Well, like I said, I have been looking for a Monte Carlo SS for about 3 months with the leather and everything here is that happened to the previous five:

1.) I checked it out, liked it, had my mechanic check it out, he said go for it so I called on a friday night at 9:30 p.m. (they close at 10 p.m.) and said I will be in the next morning with CASH for the car. I went in and he said he sold it to someone else 15 minutes after he talked to me.

2.) Another car at the same place, did pretty much the same thing.

3.) Found a individual seller whom I talked to for about three weeks and decided I would take it. I called him the day before I was going to pick it up to verify everything, and he tells me this: "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you I dont have the title to the car, so just give me all the money for it, and I will send you the title in a few weeks." He said he had to pay his bank off with the money from me, so I asked him what his bank was because I would send a check to the bank, and give him the difference if there was any, and he refused to tell me his bank, and demanded the money from me, so I forgot about that one.

4.) Great car, with low miles, in my price range, had my mechanic check it out, and he noticed alot of body damage, and even more mechanical problems, which would of have cost me alot of money.

5.) Found one by my house for $8700, liked it alot, had my mechanic check it out, and had a list of like five things that needed to be fixed, like brakes, belt, ti-rod, wheel barrings, just minor things like that, nothing major. I then called the lady after that, and she didnt answer her phone for a whole week! She finally answered and said she saw me calling and heard all my messages, but decided not to call me back. Then she said she decided to keep the car, and it was no longer for sale.

I dont know what I'm doing wrong. But I have been waiting this out because I really want a Monte Carlo, even though i could have just gone out and bought another car, I am waiting for this, I think it will be worth the wait.

if you have the 10k to spend go to a good used dealer and look for a cert. used car or a program car.

if you have that kind of money you can put down they can ethier find you one or they might even have one.

Some dealers will work with other and even go get the car and bring it back to your local dealership to make the sale.

other option is to serch ebay for cars in your area and see if you can make a run to see those to. they tend to turn over faster on there so you have freash choices more offten (SOMETIMES)

but beware of the seller they are tryign to get rid of it for one reason or another weather they tell you what that is or not is up to them i guess.

or do a serch on googel for cars in your area for the monte carlo of your year and choice and even color. could turn something up.

ill sell ya mine for 30k in Euro but you have to swim to pick it up.
i live in Germany right now so i think im not in your area of the country .
her eis a pick of it the girls dont come with it sorry. wish they did the skinny blond was cool as hell with a attitude
