Default problems with 2000 MC SS

Hey everyone, new to the site have a question for you guys. My '00 SS seems like it slips in first after its been drivin for awhile. doesnt seem to be a tranny problem like i said its only when the cars warm. Did a tranny flush(fluid was normal), new tranny filter, fuel injectors cleaned, replaced MAF sensor, checked for leaks seems good. Bought a zzp offroad downpipe just incase the cat was plugged still waiting to instal that. Im maybe thinking that it might be my PCM. Anyone run into anything simular? im running outa ideas and its driving me insane.

It could still be a transmission problem, when the fluid gets warm it starts to thin out, so if you have a hard part going out, that's when it will slip.

check out tripleedgeperformance.com and read about the transmission and some common problems and see if they fit the bill.

It's not common at all for the PCM to go bad, it's HIGHLY common for shift solenoids in the transmission to go bad.

wow another Wisconsinite, we have enough of us here for our own get-together.

I agree with Mike, it sounds like the trans is slipping or the solenoid is going. Do you hear any strange sounds when approaching shift points?
