Eh, a recharge on the A/C only works depending how big the leak. In theory, you should never need an A/C recharge. Hopefully Lou, your wife's A/C problem is easy.
My wife's "winter" car (an 05 Impala) had A/C and it failed last fall. Because of how new and nice the car is, i want to see if I can get it working. If I'm lucky, what it needs is a new condenser or something easier (I have to get it to my friend to diagnose). Odds are, it'll be the condenser (as I understand, those fail a lot since they are in an area highly exposed to the elements).

So, is your AC now working for the good? It's has been pretty cold here the last couple days. but this week it's gonna get pretty hot.....
I hope it holds for you........
