i got the 7th gen 3.5 v6 with delta flow 40 series flowmaster...nothing else (yet)

camera cant handle how loud it is tahts why its a little staticky...heres the link hope this helps out any of you guys!

id like to go louder if i could but it is a v6 so i may try the highflow cats to see what that does

 

Try deleting the u-bend first, that is what I have on mine, 40's w/u-bend delete, and it is a bit louder and beefier than how yours is right now. Might be just what you're looking for?

what do you mean U bend? you have pics of what ur talkin bout?

 

Sorry a few days late on the reply, been busy!!

Here is a link to a few before and after pics of a Buick, but the same deal is on our MC's. Just before the Resonator and has the O2 sensor bung on it, which will need replaced onto the new straight pipe.

Cuts out some restriction, I like the sound, was going to replace the res also, but am happy with how it sounds with the stocker and my setup!! Hope this helps, wish I could get a sound clip for ya, will try to get one up.

unfortunatly the 7th gens dont have them do to the lower hp and such i dont have a u bend on my 7th gen

 

i remember reading that 7th gens had them also, the engines have similar horsepower and if anything the ubend robs the car of power.

the ubend won't really make your exhaust louder but you could put in a shorter resonator and like you said high flow cats

 

i cut out my resonator haha

 

Im pretty sure the 7th gens dont have a u bend. I remember a while ago a member posted a pic comparison between the 6th and 7th gen exhausts.
