$5.50 a quart is too much to be changing every 2,000-2,500 miles. I went with the Castrol Conventional 5w-30 and will be changing every 2,000 miles.

Does anyone make an oil filter that is guaranteed for 5,000 miles?

Mobil 1 is supposed to be good for 15,000 to 25,000 miles...

 

hell that is cheap it is 6.50 a qurt here.

the other day i bough two cases of oil and a filter it cost me 80.00 us.
but any way Fram has a filter that is called the extended guard i think it is I have one to try but it is out in the trunk of the car have to do do oil in the am.

But it is suposed to have something in it to help it last longer thent eh avrage 3000 mile change.

other then that i have never tried any so i cant tell ya. normally i use the tuff guard from Fram and they seem to go on and off easier for some reason. they dont tend to freeze on the car and you have to fight them off with a wrench . i can take mine on and off wiht my hands mos tof the time and have never had a leak on it yet.

 

Mobil 1 with a Mobil 1 oil filter too....only the best and cheap insurance against motor failure!
