as far as specks on motoros not positive on all of them but that is not a issue right now.
the reson for rebuilding them was for racing a motor and or driving the cars daily.

Read it again bright boy, 30 years working on cars. You said in one of your other responses that you live out of the country and they don't take care of the roads there. Remember that one? And there were several other examples that contradict what you say.
There where no insults here, just some facts and questions to your statements that you still haven't really addressed. And as keeping my opinions to myself, what the hell is a message board for then? n/p not a big deal just a diffrence in opion .
MY personal opion would be use a full synthatic. but agian that is just me. i have it in mine and you can really see a diffrence in the motor.
ex. i changed the valve cover gasket on mine the other day and looking in to the motor it still is clean. most oils with tint the parts to a point from stuff being left behind etc.. mone is still real nice and clean. i have owned the car since it had 25 miles on it and it was changed out to full syn. at less then 400 miles. I have done this oil change weatehr to syn or other to get the stuff out of the motor that might be floating threw it from break in. seem to be good ins. for me anyway. last car i had that i built the motor in it had over 300.000 on it with full syn. oil being the only stuff in the car but the first time for break in. and it ran great and never smoked. this was in a chevy 4x4 that was used mostly intown for a bis. that we had so it was not drove with kid gloves.
when it finally died we opend it back up to find out why. the motor was still relativly clean on the inside and looked really good for wear. what killed it was a weak rod that finally let go in the writst pin area and alowed the piston to come lose. (not a good site to see)
but it still ran LOLL
