Changing the conventional oil every 2,000 miles works for me. I am going to stick to Castrol GTX 5w-30. Mobil 1 costs too much for a 2.000 mile change and my last car had a head gasket that went bad and had nothing to do with an oil problem.

What are the specs on those motors? What were they in? What machine shop did you use? Why did you do rebuild these motors? I use Castrol because it's what we have at work and I don't have to pay for it. I change it every 2500 miles
I've never run synthetic and never had any problem. And as for a cars that "runs better" on synthetic I think is just a case of people thinking it runs better because they just spent a ton on an oil change.

first off im not a kid. and im older then you are if you only have seen 30 years.
as far as specks on motoros not positive on all of them but that is not a issue right now.
the reson for rebuilding them was for racing a motor and or driving the cars daily.
As far as what your trying to say here. honestly I dont have a reson to make up a sotry about where i live. look at the front plate on that car. it is a USER plate when you can figure out where it would be issued or what it means then let me know.
I know what it means and also know where it at right now.
and actually im more educated then you might think. but hey we all have our faults. yours seems to be thinking to hard right now.
