Hi
i got a 2002 Monte Carlo SS and the left cooling fan does not turn on. I noticed a Connector coming from the harness close to the radiator but cannot find the end to plug it into. Im really stumped and would like to figure it out myself before taking to a shop

 

Can you post a picture of the connector. Also if possible, the back of the fans.

 

 

Well that definitely looks like the fan plug however, black and yellow is the driver side fan and mine is much thicker gauge. Maybe they have different colors for SC vs non SC. Anyway, hang on ill get a pic of how they plug in.

 

EDIT: Oh I misunderstood you, the fans are plugged in. I tried looking for that plug and cannot find it. I think youre on the right track, just need to find where it goes. Being black and yellow I would think that could possibly be your problem.

 

Is it that thick one into the fan on the right? or is that one to the left? I have the plugs plug into the fan and just cannot find the one i posted. its close to the left fan by the battery. Thanks!

 

The plug is right on the back of the fan you might need a mirror

 

His fans are plugged in. Its the other side of the left fan harness that is not connected.

Sry havnt had time to go back out there but Ill do that now and see what I can find.
