Did anyone get the guy's liscense plate before he got away?

As for the aftermarket stuff you'll have to ask the shop. I know sometimes the aftermarket parts can be cheaper and they may be willing to do it, all you need to do is ask. I know the headlights are like $266 I think on eBay, tails I'm not sure, mine are stock, just tinted.

Do like the man said. Find a reputable Body Shop. Get an estimate that includes new panels. Once the repairs are underway ... VISIT ... your car and make sure that you aren't getting the dented-up one hammered out and being billed for a whole quarter.
Body Shops will tend to grab a used part where ever they can get one that works to get your car done.
Keep your fingers on the pulse of the repairs and you wont regret it.

Do you have insurance? If you are using insurance to pay for the repair then they will only fix it back to the way it was with stock parts. You might get them to make a deal with you inder the table to get the car upgraded, but they would be risking a lawsuit if the insurance company found out.
From the looks of it, your car isn't going to be totaled, it will be a 2 to 3 week repair depending on how fast the needed parts get to the body shop. If you personally purchase and bring the upgraded parts to the body shop, then they might be willing to install them.

I have always had my insurance companypaying to fix the car and it was never a problem to upgrade. They billed the insurance for the repair cost for repairing to stock and I paid the difference in price. In some cases the aftermarket price was cheaper than the stock and the insurance company was happy to pay for it.
