Installing H.I.D. kit on 2004 Monte Carlo...question
They will not come on...? They were in my 02 Camaro and a neighbor kid wanted me to put them in his 04 Monte Carlo to see if he liked them. Well I got them all hooked up but they wont come on. Any special method to install these on a monte? Its the same bulbs as my Camaro has, work fine in my car. Any help would be great! Thanks guys.
Put them in the low beam spot. Which fuses do I need to check? I checked the drl fuse under the hood and even tried a 20 amp fuse but that did not fix the problem. I know its got something to do with the drl, it has to.
might be the ballast went out. did you have a a seperate hid wire harness and when unlock and lock the doors does the low beam flash? you don't want the headlight to flash cause it will shorten out the ballast.
Still cannot get them to work. Which fuses do I need to check? I took the drl relay out, changed the dlr fuse to a 25. I also tried it with that one out. Where is the headlight fuse at? Or is their one? Im getting flustered here lol
Cover-up the Daylight Sensor on the dash.
See if they are being powered by the Headlights-Full Circuit or the DRL's. The Headlight Circuity runs off that Daylight Sensor unless you over-ride it at the Light Switch. Pull-out the **** on the Light Switch and run the lights Manual and see if there is any change.
