Hi everyone, I haven't posted in a while, and when I do it seems only because I need help . So I purchased the high sport ground effects kit from a scrapyard on Ebay by the name of Proven Auto Parts. They sold me the 2 rocker mouldings and front/rear bumper spoilers from a 2003 Monte Carlo SS. The front/rear bumper spoilers are in good shape, along with the drivers side moulding (excluding the 3 plastic pieces/tabs on the inside of the panel that are broken/cracked) I'm not sure what those are for, but the passengers side is bent a bit cracking at the corner and basically needs some work, but aside from that, I want to know how to install the front and rear bumper spoilers. I read on a couple of threads that I need to dremel slots along the lower part of the bumper for the tabs, but is there any specific hardware I need in order to install them, as I didnt get any mounting hardware.. if anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. I am fortunate to have my father work in a body shop, but hes busy as a dyke in a hardware store - George Carlin. And my car just came out of the shop after I rear ended someone, and needed a new front bumper cover and hood. Thanks for taking the time to read guys/gals,

Cut the old bumper extensions off (front and back). The rockers are held on by clips so just pop them off (BE CAREFUL!) try not to break too many... They're NOT cheap!

 

You need metal clip # 21 ..12493719 Front and Rear Bumper/Fascia Face. CLIP. RETAINER
