High Res pic of 06' Headrest......
I took both headrests off this morning and upon further inspection there is only 2 round spring loaded type clips holding the seatbelt guide in place on the rails.
Should be no problem swapping it over!

I assume all you have to do is somehow slide those clips off, and the seatbelt guide will also slide off. How does the headrest remove from the seat back??
Does it just pull completely out once it reaches the end of the adj. tubes??
Is there any sort of locking thingy stopping it from sliding out???
Let me know how difficult/easy it is to get those "Washer clips" off. Those things hold like crazy, they lookto be similar to a "Push" nut fastener which are a real chore to pull off against the grain so to speak. They'll probably scratch the daylights out of the adj. tubes.
I sure hope the Impala spacing on the adj tubes is the same. I assume you probably already checked this. I think the seats used are the same in both cars.

You raise the headrest right to the top, there are 2 rings attached to the seat. One ring has the sping button that allows you to adjust the height, on the other ring, there is a TINY pin hole which you need to insert a sharp pencil type opject, stick that in and pull up on the headrest and it comes right out. The seats are very similar and the headrests will fit...
ok on those clips they are the same as what were on mine.
take a small screwdriver and ptu up under one end and start prying them up. and continue to move all teh way aroudn the clip to get them off . they are not to tuff they are time consuming and a pain in the ****. but not to hard.
as you get farther up you might need to get a towel and roll it up and put it under the plastic guid to raise it up enough so that you can pry aginst it to get them off.
if you want them back on they are a pin in the aZZ but once you get them started they are not to bad and then ya just shove them down. till tight and then push again
