He should be fine as long as he takes his time too, that is probably one of the most important parts of driving in the snow at least in my opinion.

The car has new Sumic GT60-A tires on it. He is from Indiana, so he knows how to drive on snow, etc. Sounds like as long as he is cautious he will be OK, thanks all!

Car handles really well in any weather I have come across. Granted I'm in the south so I don't see much snow, it's mostly just rain. Also I have an 06 Monte SS so I'm not sure if the power difference will be a big difference or not. But yea, it does really well. I have all season tires on right now and in the little bit of "icy slush" we have gotten it handles really well. You get some under steer like any FWD car but you won't have to worry about the rear end coming around on you either. All in all I would say it does good in bad weather.
