Default Grinding Noise

I bought this car last saturday, it was very well maintained by the original owner. The problem I am having is a steady grinding noise while driving, grinding speed increases with your speed. I have replaced the front pads and rotors because the left side was metal to metal, and I also have an intermitent "anti lock" light. Any way, the grinding kinda sounds like a wheel bearing. So does a CV axle make noise like this when they go bad? It sounds like its comming from the right side. Or could this be a tranny issue? Thanks for any help.

Starting sounds of a cv going bad is poping while taking a turn, if it's extreemly bad it will grind but will usualy lockup for a second and pop loud as you drive one way to check is jack the car up pull out the drive shaft and inspect it, spin the tire without it in there

Perhaps the brake is dragging on the rotor? Is the wheel on there good? Caliper not rubbing it?

It's frontwheel drive. So there is no driveline. As far as the brakes, the dealer put new calipers on about a year ago, and I put new pads and rotors on last Sat. The pad and rotor (the oposite side of the noise) on the drivers side were metal to metal and the rotor was shot. Is there a wheel bearing on cars with CV axles? I guess I didn't look when I was doing the brakes, I didn't think there was.

Yes, the wheel bearing is the hub.

And I'm just saying, double check your brakes/rotors. If it's not that, it could be the hub, or the axle(s).
