For anyone who cares, I just picked up an Airaid throttle body spacer from another member on LS1Tech for $40 shipped. He said he had used it only 2K miles and it comes with all the original parts. I'll wait to pick up my K&N intake to install it and I'll post up my review soon there after.

The seat of the pants dyno is pleased with the Airaid TBS combined with the K&N intake, and the sound isn't bad either. It's tolerable. I'm hoping for the some better MPG numbers with these two mods as well.
