i never saw a 3800 but i know that on the 660 they are pretty useless!

IMO its a waste unless you need a place to tap for nitrous.

It will keep the throttle body cooler, but when you consider that the tb is a short (maybe 6" long) and straight shot- air doesn't sit in there very long. I doubt you could measure a difference in hp on the dyno because the actual change in cylinder inlet temperatures probably won't change much at all. I think there is other stuff you could spend the ~$50 on.

it wont do much... unless the design helps make a smoother transition from the TB to the intake manifold. besides isolating heat from the engine to the TB it also increase the volume of the intake manifold chamber... this adds a slight high RPM increase and throtle responce.

but the gain is very small and like said not even able to be seen on a dyno. it wont hurt but the money is better spent on another mod.
