throttle body spacer

RE: throttle body spacer
IMO its a waste unless you need a place to tap for nitrous.
It will keep the throttle body cooler, but when you consider that the tb is a short (maybe 6" long) and straight shot- air doesn't sit in there very long. I doubt you could measure a difference in hp on the dyno because the actual change in cylinder inlet temperatures probably won't change much at all. I think there is other stuff you could spend the ~$50 on.

RE: throttle body spacer
it wont do much... unless the design helps make a smoother transition from the TB to the intake manifold. besides isolating heat from the engine to the TB it also increase the volume of the intake manifold chamber... this adds a slight high RPM increase and throtle responce.
but the gain is very small and like said not even able to be seen on a dyno. it wont hurt but the money is better spent on another mod.
