I'm curious if your weather elements effect that too?

Thats true, weather probably plays a good role in the longevity of certain components...

We had 188K on the original Serp-belt in the truck before we replaced it. (although that one did snap while driving, so we probably should have replaced it before that. lol) but it did go that long before snapping.

I'm telling you belt dressing helps!!! and so does California (you need your car to last longer around here, just so you can afford everything else. LOL)

LOL...thats funny! I've never heard of, or used that particular brand though. I use Prestone or Gunk belt dressing.
