Default Please need help with service vehicle soon light appearing and disappearing

Hey I have a 2004 SS Supercharged Monte Carlo (check my pic out) I love this car from the inside out really reliable never left me stranded!!! I bought it used in 2008 and am the 2nd owner. my monte has 120,000 miles (all hwy, me driving from reno nv to orange ca). Anyway i have kept up with all required scheduled maintenance and have replaced my belt, new spark plugs, new tires and rims, coolant flushed at 120,000, trany oil flushed at 90,000, new brakes at 120,000, and regualrly oil changed. done everything my SVS light still appears 95% of the time i drive. ive had it "reset and cleared the code" a few times and still appears. what could be the prob? any suggestions would be helpful. also my drivers side wont blow hot air but passenger will. AC cold air works great on both sides!! any help would be nice thanx alot.

You said that the code has been cleared before, but you didn't say what the code was. It's impossible to help you without knowing what the code is since the Monte is basically sound otherwise.

Service Vehicle Soon or Check Engine Light?

Last time you changed the supercharger oil? Could be a BBV problem too.

Maybe you didn't understand our responses:

Go to Autozone and find out what the code is for free. We can't help you otherwise.

You can't go to autozone for an SVS light. They can only read the check-engine lights.

That's why I asked to make sure it was really a SVS and not a CEL.

You might have to go to a real mechanic, because SVS is usually a problem with the engine, and not emissions like most CELs.
