Yesterday I was cleaning up my car a bit because it was the first nice day in weeks. Anyway, I looked at the emblem in the front and it had all kinds of something underneath it and seeping out a little. It isn't a liquid because I tried wiping it off. It's kind of gross, primarily because I don't know what it is. Anyone have any idea what it is or how to clean it up? I have been mapping out different mods for the car when the semester ends and I will have time, and one was to wire up LEDs or something to create a "glowing emblem", but with this disgusting thing happening now, I don't want to be unable to do it.

Damn weather, it probably was that. I've never seen it before so I was like "ew, what is that". The Ebay emblem isn't the same one on the car currently, however it does look good! Thank you for the links, chances are I'll be buying that eBay one though

 

yeah mine did the same, It's all black instead of silver, Leaked sometime along the way, I'm working on replacing it also

 

Sadly, I have to wait until a weekend when I go home and it is nice or until the end of the semester before I get to work on my car at all, so if you end up replacing it before I do, please tell what emblem you get! I see you have a silver monte as well
