Hello all;
I have a 2001 Monte Carlo LS. I have a knight emblem on the c-pillars, but I noticed that not all Montes have that....thought it had to do with the year, however I recently saw another 2001 that didn't have the emblem, so now I'm wondering, why some have it and why some don't. Does anyone know??

I believe its an early LS thing ive nvr seen em on a SS & some take em off,

 

Not sure why but some haev them some dont as I've npoticed they are only on the LS models and I personally kinda like them there but I guess when you think about it 3 knights crests are kind of overkill but heck it represents the monte well I'd leave them but thats just me.

 

Gonna leave them on...for sure! I think it looks Sharp with them on....there has to be a reason...perhaps Canadian made has it...?

Yep..It's an LS thing. My Brother-in-law and I both have 02's. His LS has them, my SS does not. But, I am hella jealous of them. I think they would look soo pimp with the SLP grill...

 

I don't think only Canadian made is the reason but I guess I'm not sure theres a lot around here and I thought at first maybe it was only the LSs with leather and a sunroof but have also seen the cloth interior ones with them so I'm totally lost on this did you research it anywhere else?

 

As i stated before also I'm about 100% sure its only on the LS models heck I'll say it stock I'm 100% sure its only on LS models

 

No, only asked here so far, figured all the knowledge here was my best bet. The other 2001 I saw today had cloth interior like mine ...was also an LS...but no crests.
