2004 SS came with the N/A 3800. The SC 3800 was an option. In 2005, SC 3800 became standard.

Currently own an 05 Supercharged and an 01 N/A. The Supercharged 05 is a gas pig and not that much faster then the 01. If I were to do it over again and be practical I would have gotten a N/A V-6 or the V-8 in the newer gen for a daily driver.
