Default CAI help

hey its me. need more help lol

bout to get an intake. i've looked at alot of diff ones and imma go with the K&N. the only thing i dont like is the heat shield. does anyone know if i can get the K&N intake and just use the thrasher/wiziard airbox or any other type that will fit?

P.S the car it coming along great. thanx for all your guys adivce

Just buy the wizaired if you aren't going to use the heat shield.

Wizaired uses a K&N cone anyway. The K&N heat shield also holds the PCM, so all you would have purchased was a $300 cone filter and tube.

If you want the whole box, go with the Wiziard...

If the reasoning your thinking about the K&N is because it has a new intake tube, i would not worry about that...The Wizaird may use the stock intake tube, but it really does not make that much of a difference, if any. But letting your intake suck hot air will make a huge difference.

I would either pick one kit or the other, but don't try and put the two kits together...it will be more expensive than it needs to be, and could potentially harm your power output (if you are letting it suck hot air)
