Bring it on down to Vegas if ya have the means. My neighbor is ready to rock and roll! He's going through a divorce, though. Not sure how much time he has anymore. He examined the engine bay on my '05 LT and decided that an LS1 would fit, so...

you want to find a cheap LT-1 hell that is not to hard.

get a tore up camaro that was brod sided. for the most part the res tof the car shoudl be in good enough shape you could use most of the drive line. As you would have to convert it to RWD and also need the tranny.

But let me tell ya i would love to have a 6 speed in mine right about now.
but i dont know of any that will work with the trans mount motors.

But it would be nice to have it.

Better yet just find a rolled Vet. LOL at least you would get the whole drive line this way

I might actually be able to do that, we have quite a few of those old salvage yards round here. I think I'm going to research this a little.

yeah you live in the right area to do it. besides getting a car that was rolled you get all of the electronics and stuff to go with it.

If you can afforded it find a hi pro factory version like the SLP version or something like this to give you just that Little but more of a edge.

At one time i think it was hot rod a guy did this with a older model 63 nova he had taken two different cars one was stock drive train the other was out of a vet. he took everything it had to include the power dash and windows out of it to put in to the nova. It was bad *** after he was finished

Well I'm in Reno right now visiting my parents fow about a month, but there are some places around here to start looking. That's going to be a lot of work swapping out the entire drive train and trying to transform it into RWD. It would be a pain in the ***, but boy would it be worth it. Probably pretty damn expensive too, maybe I will just stick to turbos. Haha. ****
