1998 Monte carlo LS Lock question

Default 1998 Monte carlo LS Lock question

Hello everyone , i had a question . I lost my door lock and trunk lock key , i have my ingintion key but the lock key was diff . Where would i get my door and trunk lock replaced?

since its for the door lock it would probably be cheap enough just to get the key re-made @ the dealer...unfortunetely i think thats all you can do short of changing the locks out or going to see a locksmith(i dont even know if they can make a key for it..) but since its just the door key its probably cheap enough fromthe dealer

So even if i don't even have a key they woul dbe able to make one by my car vin number? Cause all i got is the key to start the car which does not open doors

should be able to...see it was the opposite way for our work when we lost the ignition key for the truck..we took it in and they gave us another lock cylinder and key for it...so i would imagine this is what they would do for your doors and trunk..and if your lucky hopefully they can just get you another key

go to a lock smith and it will cost you about 100.00 and they will get you a key made off the locks in the car and it will work fine.

Or call one and ask if they will allow you to drop the locks off to get them done and go to a bone yard and pull the locks off another car and have keys made for them then replace what you have now with those
