Default 1979 Monte Carlo - PICS

I was recently given a 1979 Monte Carlo from my grandmother who has owned it since 82'. The interior is mint. It could use some new paint (you can't see it would in the pictures). It'sthe V8 with the 305, I find it odd though that no extra features were put on the car (sun roof, power windows ect.) seeing as it is the top of line model you could get for its year. There is no tac on itand it has AM only radio...as of now until i put a deck in it. Heres some pictures.

Man that is a nice MC! I hope you gave your grandma a big hug for that one! She sounds like an awesome lady.

performance-wise i'd start off with a full tune-up. then if u wanna get into beefin it up u can go with a cam, carburetor, air cleaner, electric choke, headers, exhaust...all kinds of stuff.
