1979 Monte Carlo Tire Specs?
Hey Everyone,
does anyone know the bolt pattern for a 1979 Monte Carlo? Will 4 - 15 x 8 Alloly Wheels, 5 on 4.5/4.75, -30mm offset. 4 - 225/50/15 fit? Thanks. I'm looking to get this for my old man.

hello,
if i remember correctly the tire size on the '79 monte was a 195/75r14. not 100%. if you put the 225/50r15 on that car, it will be over an 1 1/2 shorter than the stock tire. not to mention trying to bead this tire on a 8" wide rim. you might try a 235/60r15 tire. will be a more logical tire to put on there, and will look much better as well with a white lettered tire on there.
