The only problem with the aftermarket Fog Lights will be the mounting. The Factory Fogs are held in place by a 3-legged, tripod-like, mount for which there are slots and guides on the inside of the Bumper. There's not much around the Bumper cut-out for the Light to mount too. There is only the pre-drilled hole GM provided for a fastener on the Bumper of the '04 LS Monte.
But, with the Factory Mounting Brackets, installation is a breeze.
I needed to buy, from GMPartsDirect, two OEM Pigtails that fit the Bulb Socket.
Thinking that I was going to be able to use Factory wiring. I bought an OEM Fog Lights Switch and Fog Light Relay which I do not need.
The New Switch and Relay are For Sale - Both: $25.00 - Includes delivery in a small, padded envelope.

That's a whole different Switch from what I have in my 04 LS. That looks nice.
With the redesign in 2006 of the Monte, it and the Impala got a different headlight switch versus the '00-05 Montes.
You can turn the fog/driving lights of the '06/07 Monte on while just the daytime running lights areon. The '00-05 Montes you can't. (as far as I know)
I tried doing this with our '03 Pace car. The fog/driving lights wouldn't come on without the headlights being on.
