I sure wish there was a conversion for the 6th gens. I'd love to turn my Intimidator into RWD... True NASCAR style!
I wouldn't see why you couldn't do one on a 6th gen. The 5th and 6th gens are both W-bodies and have the same wheel base, correct? All they did was take the chassis (and floor pans) of a 95 F-body and put the body of the Monte Carlo on it. There would need to be a lot of fabrication for the conversion, like the fabrication of a transmission tunnel and cutting the firewall so the engine and tranny could fit.

Wonder what has become of the "Jon Moss" '95 Monte- with the state GM is in
now?? I have an '96 LT-1 Motor sitting in my garage.... Hmmm ??

Darn this thread-is-2 years old but I see some of us still entertain the thought.
Im not into waiting or wanting, so I built one for myself. I had a 1995 car first but it quickly became research & development for this 2000 Monte Carlo.

On Youtube, Just type in "rear wheel drive monte carlo".

Please excuse the graphic use of tire shredding.
For all who have seen it, thank you. Everyone else, I welcome you to watch. I'll have more regular driving videos & 1/4 mile numbers next year, its winter here now. OOps , I mean snowy soon.
