Hey guys, so i checked and double checked and my DRLs are on my low beams, so i just installed my hids thinking id just be able to turn my lights off when i wanted to so my drls wont go on but i cant turn them off!!. Now, is there a way to just disable my drls, or to make it so the it uses the high beams instead? it would also help if i can swith the intensity of the DRLs to 100%. anybody knows???

I also have a 2005 Monte so my DRLs are the low beams which is quite inconvenient for HIDs. I think there is a post to this effect but does anyone know the process or where I could find the procedure to disable them? Or if I don't will it mess up the HIDs if they are used for running lights and regular?
Thanks alot.

You could install them in the hi beam spot and just leave the high beams on but i think that would be annoying especially if you have that constant console message saying hi beams on. I wouldnt buy that cable for 75$s though. Why dont anyone with a drl problem just cover there daytime/night time sensor? that way the car will allways run night lights.

I would like to say thanks for the DIY.. I just bought a kit off of ebay for $50(http://cgi.ebay.ca/DIGITAL-SLIM-xeno...item20ad9ebc1f) ordered thursday afternoon arrived monday morning! they look great, I did angle them down once I put them in...and it definitely doesn't take anywhere near an hour to and hour and a half. I'd say I did mine in about 30 min!

Quick question, There is a piece in the headlight(low beam) that is directly in front of the bulb(i am assuming it spread the light). does this have to be there?
