I think so Wayne. I can definitely feel it shift quicker so yes I am happy with it. And maybe by next years meet I will have done a pully, plugs, and T-Stat - but one thing at a time! Since I landed a job, the next thing I will do is get the paint fixed this coming spring - no point of doing it before winter.

Well I am not too happy. I now have the ABS and P Break lights on when I start and drive my car. My PCM is from 3800perf.com who asks you if its a MONTE CARLO and what year so I don't get how they could screw it up. I will drive it more to see if they go off with time but who knows. The only thing so far that will get them to go off is to take off the neg battery cable for a while and hook it back up but I don't wanna do that every time they come on I would be doing it 2-3 times a week but we will see.
I doubt the problem you're seeing is caused by the PCM... it could very well be an issue with the ABS system. A place with a real scan will have to scan for the ABS codes, as AutoZone, etc can't do that. Need either a Tech 2 or a snap-on scanner for that.

Noooo! Precious is probably a one of one so I want to keep it as stock as possible - so an engine swap is out of the question. The 05 is funner to drive so it just makes more sense to me to have it my everyday car! So I can (sort of) enjoy my hour commute to and from work (an hour each way). I was judging a car show on Sunday and after I was done I was hanging out by my car. Some guy comes up to me and was floored that Precious had cloth interior. I told him that I special ordered the car that way. He used to own an Intimidator but sold it.
