weird noise need help

Default weird noise need help

i have a 96 monte 3.4, i just did the timing belt **** 3700 miles ago and now ii have a howling noise coming from the front cam area and im not sure what it is if anyone can help that would be great i need to figure out whats going on asap.

It could be a belt noise, a bad pulley, a bad bearing in the Alternator or something in the power steering system. I would say with the motor off remove the accessory drive belt and spin each pulley. Also check the alignment of all the accessories. I had a slightly bent power steering pulley and it was putting pressure on the Alt bearing. After a week or two it would squeal and then the belt would break.

found out it is the ac pump so now i have to find one on saturday and fix it this weekend so my wife can start her new job
