twin charging

2. What is the twin charged configuration?
This setup is made for running the blower and the turbo. It uses a different style of exhaust housing on the turbo and works with supercharged or symetrical cams. It requires an intercooler below the supercharger. This setup is recommended for running anything larger than a 67mm turbo. It works well with lower stall converters and can spool up to a 80mm turbo. We ran this setup on our 9 sec street grand prix. It comes with electronics to open the supercharger bypass when the turbo spools.
One of the benefits of this setup is that it allows people with highly modified M90 configurations an easy, affordable upgrade path. By selling your airbox, headers, and 42# injectors, you can make back some of the cost. Additionally, cars running a intercooler can keep most of the existing setup. The twin charged kit works well with supercharged cam profiles. A twin charged setup, given similar mods will always outperform a turbo only solution.
I got that from ZZP's website.

As far as I know, short of fabricating one, the kit from ZZP (Strattama) is the only kit able to work with the L67/L32 S/C and it requires a bit of tuning to make it work smoothly. Failure to tune it right will cause engine failure. It would be in the owner's best interest to own a tuner like HP Tuner.
Although, IMO the ZZP and Stattama kits are the best out for the 3800s now anyways.
I agree with everything bumpin' says..
Your looking a lot at various goals....first you said you wanna beat up on Mustangs, for that a bolton/modded Supercharged Monte should be able to handle that goal...if mine came Supercharged I woulda never went turbo...
Second the biggest issue as stated is fwd...I run 9 pounds on my setup, I was told I could go up to 15 without an issue, but even at 9 I can't get traction outta the whole no matter what I do (Granted I don't race at tracks) I am quiet happy at 9 pounds, and yes it does beat up on mustangs....ussually mostly cause they don't expect it, and by the time they realie what's happening I'm already ahead and they can't catch up...
Also as far as Diff's go, I went with a Torsen LSD I heard it was the best, not sure how true that is But I am satisfied with it...
As far as going 9's/10's and being able to use it on the street as a dd to "beat up" on Mustangs....good luck...hope you have a trailer following you around were ever you go!
Please do research after you pay off the car to see how much this will cost, and know you will need a lot of pateince for all the time's the car is down from being broke....
