tuned pcm?
#2
It will, but a tuned PCM should be the last mod to get. If you do a few mods and drop a pulley size, then you'll want to tune the PCM again. Check out the stickied thread at the top of the Engine section and follow that.

wrong...
you can do:
-air intake for less then $50 in parts
-Ubend delete for like $40 at your local exhaust shop
-if you can install them, you can get speed daddy headers for less than $200 shipped.
-if you can find someone local who can tune, you can get tuning from then for a few drinks or food lol. or make friends and get some free tuning!

I just don't understand why you HAVE to get a tune. Do the physical mods first. You are limited by your $200 budget, but you can get a set of headers for $200. Check out the classified section at Clubgp.com and try to get some good deals.
Don't worry about the tune right now, you're virtually stock. Once you get some mods, THEN start thinking about a tuned PCM. It might take you awhile, but that's okay. I've been working on my Monte since 2006 (owned since 2005), and I'm still not done modding the engine/whole car. Just make sure you have fun doing it

dont worry take your time there are horror stories when some one rushes a good build to fast on a limited budget. do the baseics first. a little at a time can go far when you see some thing you want get done. i will go ang get a few things that can get the most bang out of the dallar like z34 phenix said. those right there do a lot with out a tune and you will be happy and it is a good base to go from there
